Steir’s explosive Waterfalls offer a stereophonic experience, an invitation to enter the realm of her celestial climatic ‘pours’ and feel the visceral impact of these entities in space. Earlier this fall, Lévy Gorvy proudly presented Pat Steir: Kairos, an exhibition that showcased her most recent paintings and signaled a methodological and philosophical continuity with her celebrated Waterfall series.
