Order the Artist’s Book
Published to coincide with Lévy Gorvy’s exhibition in New York, this artist’s book was designed in close collaboration with Jutta Koether. Opening with an essay by Allan Schwartzman, the publication is based on a feature-lot auction catalogue and focusses on Demonic Options (large format #1) in the collection of the Whitney Museum of American Art. Using this seminal work as the key to understanding elements of Koether’s artistic language, prose poetry written by the artist and Begum Yasar is paired with photographs of Koether’s work.
